The past few days I’ve been working hard on my essay focusing on the global changes. Global changes are changes that focus on Ideas, Evidence, and Organization within an essay. For my essay, I needed a lot more work on organization than anything else. So a big thing that I focused on was sentence fluency and working on my run on sentences. I had run ons in a few spots of my paper that were pointed out by my peers. I went back and read through the sentences and broke them up. The new sentences had a better flow and made more sense. This will allow my paper to look and sound a lot better. Another helpful comment I got was an evidence. Evidence as in adding more information about explaining the quotes that I use. I sometimes only put a sentence as an explanation, but that’s not enough. So I went back and took a look at each quote and added in a lot more information to help support the quote. This will allow for a stronger paper, because more information supporting a quote allows the reader to get a better understanding of what you’re trying to get across. With the help of my peers global comments and my own eyes my paper is much better than it was before.
