My Revision Plan for My First Draft:

When reading the global comments from my peers I really look into what they are saying. I appreciate their feedback and what I can do to improve my paper. That’s the main purpose of peer review, it is having someone else’s eyes and expertise to make your paper better than it originally was. A few of the main comments I got were to elaborate more in my introduction paragraph before introducing the authors, grammatical errors, and adding in some more quotes to help strengthen some of my claims. Overall, I am very pleased at the comments I received because they liked my paper a lot. I liked how many of the comments were something like “this is really good and this is a really good summary of the main points of your essay” or “I’m noticing a current theme in your paper that if we’re not educated we can’t make changes in the world.” Both of these comments and more that were said make me feel confident in what I have written. I like how people can see the connections I wanted to make throughout my paper. I like how they can see the theme that I have carried throughout the paper. I’m going to consider all of the comments and make changes where necessary. This is my revision plan for my essay: to make changes where they need to be and make my paper better than it first was.
