Prepare for Licensure (ATI Comp Predictor Proctored)

I went into this exam with confidence and excitement to tackle the questions ahead. I thought about all the hard work I’ve put into my remediations, time spent on the practice exams, and doing even more practice questions. I knew that all my hard work would pay off and it did. I was so proud of my outcome. I’m happy to see that all the remediations and practice paid off. To me, what’s most important is seeing that hard work pay off like it did. The hard work, my new test taking strategies, and my growing confidence are part of what went well. Again, what went well overall was my performance. I can always improve on content though. This exam was important because it is a true comparison to the NCLEX. Therefore, I can take the content that I forgot or didn’t know and use my remediations as a study tool and continue to do practice questions. I know the more I practice the more successful I will be on the NCLEX.

I reflect on the SMART goals I used for this last exam of the semester. I was specific in wanting to do well on this exam. My measurable goal was to finish my exam and not take any breaks. I wanted to take this exam in one sitting, and I did just that. I would close my eyes and take a deep breath to reset my mind if I needed to. My attainable goal was to do better on this exam than both the practices. I achieved my attainable goal. My relevant goal was the most important of my SMART goals. This goal of mine was to treat this exam as if I was sitting for the NCLEX. My time bound goal was to answer each question in less than a minute and a half like NCLEX questions. I achieved my SMART goals by staying focused, confident, and thoughtful in my thinking. I will carry this experience going forward to my next assessment which is the NCLEX. Throughout this semester, I’ve worked hard at my SMART goals, my remediations, and all the practice questions I’ve answered. I know that all this work will help me achieve my ultimate goal of passing the NCLEX.
